Last 30 Days of Crochet. @ 7:04 PM

Day 23: If you had the supplies (and patience) for it, what project would you start today?
I would definitely start either Lynn Sibley's Sweet Pullover or the Interweave Crochet Team's Chain Reaction Afghan. Or maybe the Granny Square Mario Bedspread by Russ McAlilster.

Day 24: Have you ever made your own pattern or dyed your own yarn? How did it turn out?
I have made my own pattern actually! I couldn't find an earflap hat pattern I liked (or had work), so I made my own! It's entirely double crochet and will be posted soon! I would love to dye my own yarn though. :3

Day 25: Do you have a crocheting book or a place where you keep patterns, ideas, size measurements? Post a picture of it!
I pretty much just carry scribbles in my backpack or a half-finished project in my purse.

Day 26: Have you ever been a part, or wanted to be a part of a crochet-a-long? What was it? If not, why?
I would love to soo! I haven't been able to though.

Day 27: How do you acquire most of your yarn? Online retailers, local yarn shops, swaps, or large chain craft stores? What’s your favorite?
I am a cheapo. All my yarn is either hand-me-down, left-overs or from Wal-Mart. OTL

Day 28: Do you do any other crafts besides crocheting? What are they, and did learning to crochet come before or after learning these other crafts?
I do a little sewing (I can't machine sew yet), I have dipped a little into wire-working and jewelry, and I draw A LOT (check out my deviantART). I started doing all these before crochet.

Day 29: Do you have any tips, or things that you’ve learned from crocheting?
I've learned that it's a lot better to learn crochet (or your mistakes) through doing patterns. I tried doing swatches but by the time I did two, I just said "To hell with it!".  I made an amigurumi after that. My second successful project was a pair of mary jane slippers with which I learned double crochet. You stay a lot more interested if you're making something you actually want to make, trust me.

Day 30: What’s your name on Ravelry? If you don’t have a Ravelry account, why?
My name on Ravelry is MyNameIsVi (click the link, you know you want tooo :D).
