Day 9: What fiber or yarn do you love working with?
I'm a cheap hooker, so when buying yarn, its usually Red Heart Super Saver. In general though, I use most anything I can get my hands on.
Day 10: Do you have a favorite pattern or designer?
I am currently in looove with all of Stephanie Jessica Lau's designs (I recently began making her Valentine Teddy: LOVE IT).
Day 11: Do you have a “Crochet Hero” or someone that is just way too awesome for their own good? Do share!
For my crochet hero, my friend Toni. While I had tried crochet many times, I had never really gotten into it until she showed me some of her work, and helped me learn. We've also gotten really close, so she's awesome too!
Other friends of mine who are too awesome to handle are Elizabeth (my home-schooled chick-a-dee), Robin Orton (my fashion/band buddy), and Jennifer (my music obsess buddy).
Day 12: Where do you keep your stash? Post pictures!
I don't have pictures at the moment, but I currently keep my overflowing stash in an old Coca-Cola crate. Its taking oveeeer!
Day 13: Do you have yarn that you love but can’t find a project for?
I have 2 1/2 skeins of some vintage Dazzleaire in flower ombre that I would love to use for my room (colors match) but can't find a thing!
Day 14: What’s the worst yarn/fiber that you’ve worked with and why?
I can't really say there's a worst, but I think the most trouble I've ever had with a yarn was with some vintage Dazzleaire. It's soft, its beautiful, its easy to work up, but frogging it is terrible. I ripped a piece 2 times frogging.
